Close to the John Ringling Causeway at Bird Key’s northern end, Bird Key Park is a relaxing greenspace with picturesque waterfront views. This pet-friendly park has biking and hiking trails, picnic areas, and a canoe launch. The adjacent Ringling Bridge Causeway Park also offers beautiful views plus a fishing pier, bait shop, and a playground for kids. You can walk or drive over the Causeway to reach Bayfront Park on the Sarasota mainland. The John Ringling Causeway connects Bird Key with St. Armands Circle, a premier shopping and dining destination featuring more than 130 businesses. You can also head into Sarasota on the Causeway for many more restaurants, retailers, and entertainment options.
